Description
Transform a weekday shower into something quite special with our purple yukata, handmade in Kyoto from lightweight cotton. Unlike a Japanese silk kimono robe, in modern Japan a cotton yukata would be worn to a special event in summer or at home as a comfy lounging robe.
The print features a red-crowned crane, called tanchozuru in Japan, where it symbolizes good fortune, longevity, and peace. It flies over peony blossoms and cherry blossom branches.
Included belt ships inside one of the sleeves.
