I initially purchased this as a gift, based on the strength of the short description provided in the advertisement. Once I received it, and read through the 'Forward, Acknowledgements', and particularly the 'History of..., and the Conservation' parts, I was truly impressed. The feedback I've received from those receiving this edition as a gift has been nothing less than highly complimentary. This work has provided additional insight into the thought process used by Thomas Jefferson, and further confirms him as a brilliant American thinker. TJ did what I thought someone should do, but I didn't know he did it until now... useful information, whether you are Christian of not, using Jesus as a teacher, without the over-arching 'religious belief' requirement. If you think Jesus had good and important lessons to teach, and things to say, this book is for you...good scholarship on the principles of good and kind living, and giving.... The book was much smaller than I envisioned. The print is so small I have difficulty reading - my vision is 20/20 corrected with glasses and I normally have no problem reading. Kansas City, Mo.

This bible is unique and historic because Thomas Jefferson compiled it. I am a history lover and that's why it appealed to me. Tyler, TX

A beautifully crafted smaller tome that combines art, history, culture and religion. Very attractive and a delight to read especially if you have interest in comparing four languages at once. My only slight disappointment was to learn it was printed in China. I would have gladly paid the difference to have it "Printed in America." Michigan

There are many things that attracted me to order the Jefferson Bible...mostly, I was intrigued to see what he appreciated of Jesus' teachings. After receiving the book, there are many features I liked...the size of the book is perfect, as the beautiful scroll detail on the outside. I liked the plastic sleeve and the restoration explanation was very insightful...helps you understand and appreciate all the work that went into this book and to all ancient books as well. My only issue is it being made in [*]?!?!? There are so many unemployed persons in this country, who would've enjoyed taking part in this interesting project. NYC
