Description

A Gemstone Power Bracelet for every need. According to ancient belief, gemstones worn against the skin impart special benefits. These bracelets are respectively strung with semiprecious stones—hematite for healing, aventurine for confidence, amethyst for relaxation, rose quartz for compassion, tiger's-eye for mental focus, reconstituted turquoise to cleanse energy centers. Multiple stones bead the seventh.

Museum Story

The semiprecious stones of these Gemstone Power Bracelets are directly inspired by the extensive holdings displayed in our National Museum of Natural History's Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems and Minerals and curated by the National Gem Collection. Established in 1884, the National Gem Collection is renowned for its breadth of world-class precious gemstones, including the celebrated Hope Diamond.

I thought these bracelets would be great to mix and match and would go with everything. I was correct about that. My main attraction to this set was "#7" with the vibrant colors. I know that being gemstones every set is different but didn't realize how different. In the set I received, #7 was a mix of the other 6 - very pale in comparison to the picture. I was really disappointed I didn't get the #7 that was pictured. Still, it is a very nice set of 7 bracelets, and I do not regret the purchase. Good quality and craftsmanship. Just don't expect to get bracelets in the exact colors shown. Cordova, TN
