Description

Mickalene Thomas is known for powerful portraits that reframe how Black women are seen in art—confident, glamorous, and unapologetically present. This unisex tee features a digital print of Din, une très belle négresse #1 (2012). The original painting combines rhinestones, acrylic, and oil to create a dazzling portrait that commands attention. The image spans the full front, with black sleeves and back. "Studio Mickalene" is printed in white on the back neck.

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 Beautiful but small

The design is fabulous! However, I bought an XL for a friend and it didn't fit her. I probably could have worn it but it was not meant for me and as a white woman I felt it would be inappropriate for me to wear. I find that most clothing items made in Asia run quite small!
