The A2 jacket was coveted by the U.S. Army Air Force pilots and aircrew who wore them in the European and Pacific theaters of World War II. The leather broke in over time, giving the A2 jacket a rugged look that paralleled the heroics of those who wore it.
This replica is crafted in the USA using full grain, vegetable-tanned goatskin. Special treatment during the production process gives it the broken in look from the first day you put it on. Other features that were found in the original include: collar with ring snap fastener, hook-and-eye collar clasps, two front flap pockets with ring snap fastener, and knit cuffs and waistband.
Twenty-first century updates include a signature appliqué lining, side entry pockets, and an interior pocket to keep a wallet or phone secure. For a day in the cockpit or a night on the town, this handsome Mustang bomber jacket is the real deal.
