Cleopatra used powdered blue lapis as eye shadow. Ancient Persians believed that lapis is what gave the sky its blue color. This Lapis Cleopatra Necklace features rondels of semiprecious lapis stone alternating with wavy gold-plated discs and rare Keishi pearls.
