Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 Ordered as gift--kept it myself

I'd ordered this book as a gift for an 11-year-old girl and found it so informative, visually appealing, and delightful that I kept it myself and ordered another to give. Each artist is featured in a two-page spread that includes a biography with historical context, richly illustrated with vignettes in the margins that are captioned with additional facts. This is a wonderful introduction for middle-school girls. However, anyone who love graphic books would enjoy this.
