"My First Grade son received this as a gift after showing a lot of interest in space. He absolutely loves this projector, and it's a big part of his bedtime ritual. Would automatic slide changing be nice? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really. I look at it as a positive, as he gets to spend more time talking about what he sees, and isn't distracted by slide changes. Thanks for making a great product."

"There were no reviews when I purchased this item as a gift for my niece who loves the planets/stars. I agree with the other review. Manual advancement poor - requires an adult to make sure it is not broken after the first use. Images: okay but way too few to hold a child's attention for long. My niece who is five years old was bored with it after she looked at 3 times and most of the images she already knew. Disappointed especially for $80."

"The projector seemed sturdy enough, and was easy to assemble. The recipient of this gift loved the planetary images and the rotating star pattern. I was disappointed that you have to manually turn the disc to see the different images. This takes away from the purpose of the projector. There should also be more discs available."
