Description
Step into the world of museum curation with Makayla, your creative guide to hands-on art exploration. This STEAM-powered kit introduces kids to artistic techniques, exhibition design, and the wide world of visual storytelling—no museum pass required.
Designed for ages 5-10, it's full of tools for self-expression and imaginative play: mini canvases, paint and stickers, a fold-out gallery space, and a curator's clipboard to plan and present each new exhibit. Whether your young learner dreams of being an artist, a curator, or just loves to create, this kit invites them to explore big ideas with confidence and joy.

Established by an Act of Congress in 2003, it is the culmination of decades of efforts to establish a national museum that promotes and highlights the contributions of African Americans.
