Express Delivery
Need to get a package there faster? Choose one of the following express delivery service options:
- FedEx 2-Day (Afternoon Delivery, second business day) - $11.95 in addition to standard shipping charges. ($21.95 in addition to standard shipping charges if shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.)
- Orders placed before 11 AM ET will be delivered within two business days once the order ships. Orders placed after 11 AM ET on Wednesday will not receive delivery until Monday of the following week. FedEx does not provide weekend delivery with this service. Please see the chart below.

International Shipping
Smithsonian Store can only ship orders to the United States and Canada.
For orders to Canada:
All duties, taxes, tariffs and VAT charges will be the responsibility of the package recipient. These charges and fees are determined by Canadian local government and custom agencies. The Smithsonian has no control over these charges and can not determine the amounts in advance.
Additional shipping charges may be required on large orders and on rural area addresses designated by the shipping carrier. We will contact you prior to shipping the order for authorization. Some items are restricted by law for shipment outside of the U.S. In this instance, we will contact you.
All orders require a phone number and street address for delivery.
