Description
A crowned dinosaur in bold colors, Jean-Michel Basquiat's Pez Dispenser (1984) takes a childhood memory and transforms it into pop iconography. The name nods to the candy company famous for its character-shaped dispensers; the crown gives the dinosaur its unlikely royal status. This blue cotton tee features the full T. Rex across the front, with the dinosaur's tail wrapping playfully around to the back. A woven sleeve tag reproduces text from Basquiat’s notebooks.
