NASA astronauts wore The Original Astronaut Slipper Socks on every shuttle mission since 1982. Cloud-cushion footbeds. Suede soles. Machine washable. Ragg wool/Cotton blend. Designed in Maine. Made in China.
A pair of The Original Astronaut Slipper Socks is displayed at our National Air and Space Museum, which has two public display facilities. The museum on the National Mall houses many of the great icons of flight, including the original 1903 Wright Flyer, Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, Chuck Yeager's Bell X-1, John Glenn's Friendship 7 spacecraft and the Apollo 11 command module. The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center displays more aircraft in an open, hangar-like setting. Included are a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the fastest jet in the world; an Air France F-BVFA Concorde supersonic passenger jetliner; the Boeing B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay, and the space shuttle Discovery.
Sizes, S (6-7), M (7.5-8.5), L (9-10), XL (10.5-11.5). Cloud-cushion footbeds, suede soles, stain-repelling and water-resistant side walls. Machine wash in warm water with like colors, using the delicate cycle and a non-bleach detergent. Tumble dry using the cool setting. Or hang to dry.
