"Yes, it was a gift. To myself! When I first saw the Dom Pedro Aquamarine at the Smithsonian, I fell in love. I used to go visit it on my lunch hour when I worked at CBP. Imagine my surprise when there it was in the Smithsonian catalog this Christmas! I immediately bought it for myself for a Christmas present. It is absolutely gorgeous. Looks just like the Dom Pedro. Same sparkles and depth and richness. The silk is wonderful and soft. It is just the right size to wear to protect the collar of my fur coat, or with a sweater or blouse."
