"This is an absolutely beautiful brooch, and I would have been delighted with it if I had noticed when I took it from its package that it is missing the pin in back! Yes, there is only a clasp. No pin! So I cannot wear it. I have emailed the Smithsonian and am waiting to hear back from them about a replacement. Do check in back before you add it to your collection of Christmas jewelry."
