Handcrafted jewelry—like this Scalloped Acrylic Cherry Blossom Necklace—resides in the costume collection at our National Museum of American History. Among the more than 30,000 objects in the collection are numerous accessories, including scarves, handbags and jewelry.
Craft jewelry is also included in the Renwick Gallery at our Smithsonian American Art Museum. Housed in a Civil War era architectural landmark building, the Renwick Gallery collects, exhibits, studies, and preserves American craft and decorative arts from the 19th century to the present.
