"Might have been an interesting toy, but the gear box is defective. It only connects to one side of the legs and cannot operate the other side. There is no way to adjust it to work correctly, so we assembled the entire thing only to have it not work. Extremely disappointing."

"I purchased this for my grandson as a birthday present. The metal rod that goes thru the gear box is shorter on one side, leaving a long side. It only goes thru the right leg mechanism. So only 4 legs work. Tried pushing and pulling it to make it even, does not budge. I went back to the store and the other boxes gear rod were even worst. If I can't replace this at another store, I will return it and get my money back. It was a good idea to buy an educational toy."

"We purchased the robo spider and the motor did not work. Received a replacement and it only works if you wiggle the switch. Grandson is extremely disappointed with this product. The lessons he is learning probably aren't the intended ones."
