Navajo artisan James Livingston showcases his lapidary skills in this Navajo Purple Spiny Oyster Inlay Cuff. Channel-inlaid with precisely cut stones of purple spiny oyster, this stunning Navajo Purple Spiny Oyster Inlay cuff is made entirely by hand. Sterling silver. Handcrafted in the U.S.A. Do NOT bend, squeeze, push, pull or change the shape of this bracelet in any way. Naturally occurring charoite variations and individually crafted silver assure each cuff is unique.
The beautiful inlays of this Navajo Purple Spiny Oyster Inlay Cuff are fashioned from the shell of unusual spiky bivalves, commonly known as spiny oysters. Found in the Gulf of California and along the Pacific coast, spiny oyster shells with their extravagant range of colors (purple to orange, red and yellow) have been used in Native American jewelry for centuries. Several of the hundreds of pieces of silver Navajo jewelry curated by our National Museum of the American Indian feature shell adornments.

"I have a small wrist and this bracelet fits beautifully. I like the fact that it does not look big and clunky nor is it tiny. The picture does not do justice to the pretty silver along the top and bottom of the purple spiny oyster cuff."
