Sterling silver pendant, bail, chain, and lobster clasp. Handcrafted in the U.S.A. Naturally occurring turquoise and individually crafted settings and bail assure each necklace is unique.
The Kingman mine that produced the turquoise for this Navajo Kingman Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace was first worked by ancient Native American civilizations. Rediscovered in the 1880s, Navajo hammers and polishing tools were found there along with Native American hammers from 600 CE. Among the hundreds of Navajo jewelry pieces curated by the National Museum of the American Indian are many bracelets and rings adorned with Kingman Turquoise gems.
