"I agree with those who said the piece doesn't match the catalog photo. Colors in the picture are more vivid."

"Murano should be ashamed. It looks like someone at Murano took a blue bowl and fused small, colored tiles on it, so every other tile was blue giving it a dark, unattractive appearance, which looks nothing like the picture in the Smithsonian catalog."

"The bowl is signed on the bottom by the artisan and scribed with its origin. Yes, it's a little irregular, but that's because it's handmade. If you want something perfectly round, go to a big box store and pay your ten bucks for a machine made, chinese knock-off with 10,00 other identical pieces. This is a beautiful bowl and draws compliments and queries from everyone who sees it. As for the price...we have visited the island of Murano, and from our comparison shopping there, this bowl is a bargain."

"Beautiful colors! I'm using it to hold a lit tea light. The flame really brings out the wonderful colors at night. I just love it."

"The photo is deceptively misleading. It looks like it is a clear bowl with colored glass squares photographed on a blue background. The actual bowl is a very dark blue with colored class squares that looks nothing like the photograph. I am returning it."
