These Miniature Asian-Inspired Ceramic Horses emulate Tang dynasty horse sculptures. Each of these saddled steeds is depicted in a different naturalistic pose and glaze. Groomed with Tang-era clipped manes and bound-up tails, each ceramic horse is beautifully hand-painted.
Two fine examples of Tang dynasty horse sculptures are curated by our Freer Gallery of Art.

"I bought these as a gift and was completely delighted. They were even more beautiful than the picture and very good quality. Very very good value for the price. Now that i've seen them I may need a set for myself. The recipient absolutely LOVED them."

"I bought these ceramic horses several years ago and am very happy with the appearance and quality. I have some glass shelves, and I display them on a shelf. I had a plain, wooden block that I used to raise one horse higher than the other, and I really like the effect. I like the variety of color and poses."
