Description
Santa Clara Pueblo artist Jeffrey Askan created these Blackware Teddy Bears from naturally black clay he gathered from within the Santa Clara Pueblo. He then cleaned, mixed, hand coiled, shaped, and stone-polished these blackware teddy bears before firing them over a smothered outdoor fire. Signed by the artist. Handcrafted in New Mexico, each pot will be one-of-a-kind.
