Jackie Kennedy Large Engagement Bangle
Item #48234
We regret that this item is not available at this time.
The Look of Love. The original was an engagement gift from John F. Kennedy. Jackie Kennedy liked it so much she wore it all her life. Studded with crystals, this Jackie Kennedy Large Engagement Bangle with hinged opening is rhodium-plated. Elegant presentation box.
So extraordinary, the world still knows her by her first name. So stylish, her fashion choices—oversized sunglasses, glass pearls, statement jewelry, a simple tank watch—are as on-trend today as in the heyday of Camelot. Many of Jackie’s personal items, including gowns and her signature faux pearls, are part of The First Ladies, an exhibit at the National Museum of American History.

"I love the look of this bracelet but it comes right off. The clasp is terrible. I took it to a jeweler and he put a chain on it for me. Had I not done that, I would have lost it the first time I wore it. i would recommend it but do not wear until you have a chain attached to it."

"I bought this beautiful bracelet a few years ago and noticed reviews in 2014 which had the same problem as I did. I wore it for less than a year when the clasp broke and one of the crystals fell off. I also went to see if I could get it repaired with no luck. Was told the clasp does not hold the weight of the bracelet well. Sorry its so beautiful, but would not recommend buying it. Appears the makers continue to have an unsupportable clasp."

"This bracelet as others have mentioned is stunning and elegant. I love it. However, the clasp is cheap and broke, after about 6 mnths. occasional wear. I took it to my jeweler and he will try and fix it but says it will be difficult because of the design; the clasp has a tongue that slides from one side into the other. The screw that opens and closes it broke and the tongue itself is made of very thin metal. Although this is costume jewelry I expected better quality/durability for the price and I'm disappointed that I may have to get rid of such a beautiful piece just because of a cheap clasp mechanism."
