"This book is an excellent compendium on the artwork of the Yazzie family of Navaho jewelry artists -- Lee, Mary Marie, and Raymond. The items in the gallery collection are all fabulous examples of native American artistry almost beyond comparison, and this book has excellent photography of nearly all of the pieces, plus some others. The book also has detailed biographical information that gives insightful background about the artists, with references to specific pieces of their work. This book is one of the best summaries of a gallery presentation that I have seen. Lois Sherr Dubin has curated a magnificent gallery showing that you should not miss, and that you can very nearly take home with you in this nicely presented, well done book."
