Yukata are casual kimono made of cotton. Originally worn as bathhouse robes, in modern Japan yukata are worn to special events in summer or at home as comfy lounging robes. I love the length. Am disappointed that the front panels are sewn in total disregard of matching the print and the lack of loops for the belt.

Robe is great. Exactly as pictured. If it had pockets, it would even be better. Also, could use belt loops (I will make some).

I was in Japan 40 years ago and had one that was lined for winter in Kyoto and I wore it out. I have been looking for a real yukata ever since. This is perfect. Not lined but ok for summer wear. Thank you.

Loving this lightweight robe for warm weather. Machine washable for easy upkeep. The pattern is classic and easy to wear.

The pattern is wonderful and I love the cotton fabric. It is well-made, but runs long. I am 5'9" and it grazes the floor. I like that, since most robes are too short for me.

Quality garment. I am petite (5'2") and ordered the smallest size. Turns out to be about 2? inches beyond my feet. But, overall, it had seemed to be too big around the shoulders and torso - until I found out that these are adjusted for a specific person with the use of belts and excess cloth is hidden with the obi belt. Ordered some belts from a separate website and now I'm having fun learning how to tie them and can see that I can keep it neater (though a bit more formal).
