Any way you wrap it, this geo-chic Cuzco Alpaca-Blend Shawl charms you with its Incan-inspired motifs and its reversible colorways—mostly indigo reversing to mostly sage. This surprisingly lightweight and cozy wrap is handmade in Peru. Alpaca/Acrylic blend.
This Cuzco Alpaca-Blend Shawl is eloquently evocative of Peruvian textiles in our Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Opened in 1897 by the three Hewitt sisters—granddaughters of industrialist Peter Cooper—they created a museum that functions as a visual library of design. Now housed in the 1902 Andrew Carnegie mansion in New York City, the collections include a spectrum of textiles and weaving techniques.
79"l. x 28"w. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Also can be dry cleaned.
