We regret that this item is not available at this time.
This Alluring Abalone Ring by American designer Charles Albert presents a striking oval of ruby red abalone. A dramatic personal adornment, up the wow factor by pairing it with the matching Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings (item number 46828). An alchemist’s dream, the hypoallergenic metal alloy emulates the look and feel of 18k gold. Color-enhanced abalone shell. (Search for item number 46828 to add the matching necklace, bracelet and earrings.)
Our Alluring Abalone Ring celebrates the swirling iridescent beauty of abalone nacre, or mother-of-pearl. Harvested the world over for millennia, Native Americans are known to have gathered abalone on California’s Channel Islands for at least 12,000 years. The many abalone jewelry artifacts in the vast anthropological collections of our National Museum of Natural History attest to the ageless appeal of abalone’s enchanting decorative patterns.
Adjustable to self-fit ring sizes 4-11.

"I love shopping at museum boutiques, but don't often get to museums. Fortunately, Smithsonian makes their gorgeous pieces available online. I bought a signet-style lapis lazuli ring from them several years ago and have received many compliments on it. This ring is also a magnet for the eye! Lots of compliments on it."

"I was given the earrings and loved them that when I saw the ring it was instantaneous purchase. Great rich color. Size is large but not uncomfortable or awkward to wear."

"The colors go with more than red and black. The wide band fits comfortably. I have not had to adjust the ring."

"For the price of this product it should come sized. That is just so cheap when you can adjust the band - and it is never round again and looks horrible."
