Really disappointed in the way the earrings hang from the ear. All that work put in the hanging portion with so much wire exposed. It's like wearing a long gold wire with the decorative part seemingly not connected.

The necklace is lovely and hangs nicely on the bare neck and on sweaters and blouses.
I had to return the earrings because they hung too low., but I have other earrings that will go with the necklace. I would reccomend it if you like unique jewelry,

It is a nice shape but feels flimsy and does not "sit" well on neck, or at least not as I would have preferred. Considered returning it, but did not as sales support the Smithsonian.

Great craftsmanship, you can use it together or separately. The earrings are beautiful, they are very light weight and can be used day or night, with formal or casual wear. I had the set for over ten years and still looks as bright as the first day. I will recommend to wipe it with a soft cloth after each use. I bought a new set of earrings, because I damage the original ones. Avoid getting it wet, it will get a dark gold color.

They were way too big for me and something as big as these would be difficult to give as a gift. What if the person doesn't like huge earrings? But they're gorgeous and the quality is very good!

My husband surprised me with this set for Christmas, and I love it. It looks great dressed up, or with jeans to add a little flair. My skin is fairly light, so it doesn't pop as much as it would on a darked skinned person, but the entire set is gorgeous. I would recommend this set. The quality is top rate and the price is right.
