Museum Provenance

The U S Navy’s Sikorsky SH-60 Sea Hawk Helicopter features a twin turbo shaft engine. Designed for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare, the hinged tail of this military aircraft reduces its footprint after landing on any air-capable naval vessel. Military aircraft, including, older Sikorsky military helicopters are displayed in our National Air and Space Museum Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
