Museum Provenance

The cast skeletons of Jurassic titans—including the herbivore Triceratops and the carnivore Tyrannosaurus rex—face off in our National Museum of Natural History’s Dinosaur Hall. Though the lance-like horns and bony skull frill of the Triceratops would have made it difficult, the fearsome T. rex was happy to have him for lunch.

Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.

How to impress a five year old? This would be it! He loved the size and that he and his dad will be flying it together. He also couldn't wait to hang it in his bedroom. A memorable gift if ever there was one. For me, the price was worth every penny eventhough it was very reasonable

I bought this kite as a present for my 11 y.o son on his Birthday. I have no idea what problems made the assembly of this kite difficult for the previous reviewer,all the parts easily slid into place and I had the kite assembled in a few minutes and it flew well.
