A Vintage Confection. The 1911 Scottish pattern of this Rose Inverted Thistle Cake Plate was re-introduced in the 70s by family-owned Mosser Glass of Ohio. Formed in the original mold, the gently scalloped edge and welcoming pineapple stem make your cakes, hors d’oeuvres or tea sandwiches the star of any repast. Many Mosser Glass objets are represented in our American History Museum. Made in the U.S.A.  5.25"h. x 11.5"dia.

Museum Provenance

What can be more charming than spring dining in a garden setting? The idealistic accessories we offer—serving pieces to complement your table, wraps and jewelry to enhance your outfit—will let you entertain or be entertained with a rosy panache. These lovely items recall holdings from the ceramics and glass and costume collections of our National Museum of American History.

Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.
