I ususally love Smithsonian accessories, but this was a big disappointment. The colors looked so vivid onscreen, but they are actually so light as to look drab and faded. In the photo, the scarf seems to drape like silk. In reality, the fabric is stiff and uncomfortable. The description does give the correct dimensions--75X20" This is much larger than it appears in the photo. It's so voluminous that it is almost impossible to drape as shown. It would probably be better used as a shawl. I have almost 100 scarves, and I've even given lessons on scarf tying, but I can't figure out a good way to wear this one. It has to go back.
