The ring (sold separately) of this brilliant, sterling-silver-set parure replicates the spectacular 23.1 carat Burmese ruby ring, donated to the Smithsonian Institution by philanthropist Peter Buck in memory of his wife Carmen Lúcia. Our reproduction flanks a 14 x 10mm Austrian crystal with trillion cut cubic zirconia. We commissioned the matching pendant and earrings (sold separately) to create an ensemble of legendary beauty.  1"l. with 18"l. chain and spring ring clasp.

Museum Provenance

The Lúcia ring is in our Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems and Minerals, National Museum of Natural History.

Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.
