First, the earrings are much bigger than the picture leads you to believe. They are 2" long. Color is NOT grey as shown (yes, there is amber of other hues, aqua green as well). It is black and light yellow. It is kind of big and clunky, and I am not sure where you'd wear them because they are too big for a casual or work look, yet not nice enough to go out in.

One of the amber leaves fell off an earring when I took it out of the bag, The poor workmanship really is inexcusable. I am afraid that more leaves will fall out of the earrings - I guess that I am going to have to get it checked by a jeweler.
The necklace is a bit too lightweight, and doesn't stay centered on the neck.
BUT.... the set is beautiful, and I love it.

Very pretty & dellicate design, but the button closure makes it difficult to extend it - as it is too short. The cording is plastic-y - like heavy fishing line, which is a disappointment too. I am afraid it might become brittle and fall apart. Love the design, and the actual amber pieces, but wish it were put together with better materials, and with a different kind of clasp.

Unfortunately the earrings fell apart as soon as I picked them up out of the box. Someone else had reported this problem and I ignored it. Silly me! Don't bother - even if on sale. Also, the look like they could be flexible and swing but the way they are splayed in the picture is the way they are stuck. Will probably take them to a jeweler and see if they can be fixed, or maybe use the amber for something else.

These earrings are absolutely beautiful. They are feminine, delicate and well-made. They also are quite versatile. Mine are not the typical reddish amber color, but rather a darker brown which makes them function as a neutral and can be worn with many colors. I am very pleased with them.
