Rising to the Occasion. Four centuries ago, Galileo devised an eye-catching method for determining temperature by floating multi-color spheres with numerical tags in a special clear liquid. The lowest sphere in the upper part of the cylinder of this Galileo Thermometer indicates the temperature (60° - 84° F). Wooden frame.  14.5"h. x 4"dia.
