Contemplating, perhaps, her prospective marriage, this Han Dynasty Chinese Beauty with Ducks Figurine gracefully holds her fan while gazing upon Mandarin ducks. Traditional symbols of romance, the colorful Mandarin ducks nestle in a lotus leaf at the feet of this Han Chinese Beauty. Exceptional workmanship, evidenced in the delicacy of her fingers and the drape of her bas-relief costume, requires more than a day to complete. Ceramic. Padded underside. 12"h. x 6"w. x 3.75"d.
