The glass enhances depth of dimension and color of the the fruits. My niece loves it. We had fun identifying each fruit; one dark berry was a mystery -- we decided it was a mulberry. I didn't give her the bracelet because she has two rambunctious little boys, but the necklace and earrings are safe -- and beautiful!
