I think the chain should be more substantial for a heavy piece this . May chain was broken, as the clasp spring did not work. Thanks for replacing the chain so promptly. I found it a little difficult to take off the bail, to wear as just a pin, so the first time I wore it I used a heavier chain and I got a lot of compliments.

Although this pin has a unique fitting to allow it to be used also as a pendant (it arrives with a chain) or on an omega necklace, it is simply TOO BIG to be used in either way unless worn by a very large, tall woman. The only use I could imagine was as a pin on a winter coat and, since I live in Florida, that would certainly limit its exposure. Alas, it is in its box ready to go back. If if were half the size, it would be a lovely piece of jewelry.

My wife thought this was really lovely, but it just would not fit into her style...Nothing she felt she could wear it with often enough.
