These were a huge hit with the recipient, a 3-year-old girl who is very interested in space and monkeys. The toys are good quality, and I expect they'll last for quite some time.

I visited Smithsonian and I saw these as a perfect souvenir and for gift to little kids as well.
It does not contain any hazardous parts, so it is not dangerous for little kids.
Very good gift.
Consider producing the monkey in the white astronaut suit and vice versa for the bear.

I received the animals as a gift. They are very unique and cute. I like the blue color on the monkey and the spacewear, which looks better to me than on other astronaut monkeys I've seen. The only complaint I have (and it's a minor one) is that the space suits are not removable. Nevertheless, a very clever product and I am happy to own them.

My wife and I are manned space history fans/collectors, and over the past few years, we've bought or been given many action figures or stuffed animals wearing astronaut gear. I bought these to include in our ever-growing collection of astro-critters.
My wife was disappointed when they arrived because the fabric of which the spacesuit and shuttle jumpsuit are made is a slick, glossy polyester double knit--the wrong kind, she claims, like from the 1970s, and even I was a bit disappointed when I got home from work and examined them. The items would be wonderful gift items, except that the fabric seems cheap and is off-putting when the monkey and bear are handled. We realize the Smithsonian must manage the budget on items sold in its catalogues and gift shops, but selecting (what we feel is) an inferior fabric wasn't the way to go with these items.
