Ground-breaking commercial and military aircraft are exhibited at our National Air and Space Museum and the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Period aviation clothing and accessories is also a large part of the collection.

Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.

When I got this for my husband's birthday present, his smile was as big as that on some of the airplanes (he is a pilot). I earned plenty of points on this!! He has had other Hawaiian shirts from Smithsonian, which have all been great, but this is now his favorite -- don't discontinue it because he will eventually wear it out and I'll need to replace it. Good job!
