I will be able to wear this once the warm weather returns as the fabric is too thin for our cold Oregon winters. Truly lovely. I am glad that I was able to get it to replace something I lost when our home burned down Feb 2012. Thank you to Smithsonian for helping me find a replacement item.

I use the Caftan as a Hostes gown and plan to wear it Christmas Evenwhen my children are here for dinner. The great thing I think is how comfortable the Caftans are and yet so stylish..
I ahve received compliments on the caftan and asked where I purchased the garment. I told them so Feel certain they will be over to look.. Of course then that would not be so great having all show up in the sme caftan.

This was a gift from my husband. The colors are very vibrant and eye catching. I have got several compliments when wearing it. This is a one size fits all. The description of this garment says it has a "gathered (elasticized) waist" I find the elastic is more empire than at waist which I feel is more attractive. I am a 14/16 in a dress and it fits very well. My only concern would be in washing this dress that the printed colors might fade or run.
