Very cool and unusual computer mouse, but you better like spiders - this one is LARGE!
The colors reflected in the mouse go through the spectrum of fiberoptic colors, which could be distracting. I'm guessing there's something to freeze the color at the one you want. It was a gift, so we didn't "play" with it yet to find out if that's the case.

I purchased this creepy mouse as a gift for my sister, whose tastes run toward the interesting and macabre, while I like things to have a practical side. This mouse fits all bills. There is no doubt it's functional but the lighted feature makes it easier to find in the dark, when so much status updating is done. The spider will appeal to her tastes and match her decorating aesthetic.

Gave these to grandchildren and neighbour child with astonishing results. Three commented on its value at keeping Mom off the computer. One was scared when he opened it but now claims he is no longer afraid of spiders and it is the mouse he uses exclusively. The spiders are very lifelike as in "are we sure they are deceased?". I was startled when I opened the first one myself. OK, it was creepy! It was a most satisfying gift for today's jaded "I have seen it all" youngsters and apparently even useful.

This is a fun mouse with the spider and color rotating lights. Needs to be on a white background to get the full effect. Lights really pop in the dark. Not particularly functional for hard core mouse users. I.e. no side thumb buttons. But as a novelty, it is worth the bucks just showing it off. I have it attached to a laptop I typically use as a traveler. Lights give a nice ambience in my home office.
