These Snowflake Party Crackers are sophisticated table favors. Sure to break the ice at your next festivity, have guests pull the ends of these Snowflake Party Crackers to “pop” open, releasing a toy, a joke and a paper crown. Let the hilarity begin!  10"l. Box of 12.

Museum Provenance

Since Victorian times, Christmas crackers have been a traditional part of British holiday celebrations, and subsequently, festivities in the United States. Invented in the mid-1840s by a London pastry cook, their popularity was not secured until the “pop” was added to the experience. Often seasonally themed, the crackers are "popped" before or during the Christmas meal. Our Warshaw Collection of Business Americana, National Museum of American History houses holiday memorabilia, decorations and nostalgic items.

Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.
