First worn by Japanese court nobles centuries ago, today the beloved lightweight yukata is often worn to summer festivals, fireworks displays or as simple night attire. Made in Osaka from 100% cotton with a traditional woven flower girl motif. Self belt. Sizing may vary slightly.

Great replacement robe for my wife, just enough coverage after bath/shower or pool time in sunny and hot Arizona. Great color retention, came with belt even though description indicated it wouldn't have one. Fabric needed a couple of wash cycles to soften up.

Nice color and print. Not what I expected given the price. Construction and sewing were inferior. I am female and 5'9 and it ran long. Probably would have been better if I had ordered a Medium but was concerned that it might be too short. Might be softer and have a nicer drape after washing.

I will wear this as a robe. It is very pretty. It is a thin cotton material with no lining. It is lighter than I expected. At the sale price I am happy with my purchase. I don't think I would pay full price for it.

This is the item I like most in my order. The design, printing and fabric are of very good quality. The true red colour brightens up my face. It's a good buy at this sale price for something really made in Japan. Many similar ones I saw in the airport of Tokyo are of inferior quality but similar price. And, they are made in China --- Japanese Yukata! (I did not give it 5 stars because I haven't washed it yet.)

The size seems true but a little large because there is a lot of material and it goes all the way to the floor. The new cotton material is stiff but I expect it will be softer after washing.

I gained lots of attention at school for wearing this on the first day one person was like " is that a kimono?" i just igored him of corse lol. This one kid about a foot shorter then I am was walking all gangster like with me for a few seconds then left laughing with his friends. All my friends thought I looked so cute in it , i wouldnt wear it all the time , with being a tom boy, I cant walk like a lady at all.
