These earrings go very well with the similar necklace and make quite a statement. Unless one is very tall, however, the wood-on-wood can be a little too much. These are large earrings and make quite a statement and could be a little overwhelming for smaller people or for people who don't want to stick out. They are really lovely, however, and would go well with simpler neck jewelry.

The workmanship is exceptional. The necklace works well with many styles and is appropriate for a variety of settings; work, evening, formal, etc. Moreover, it is comfortable and non-intrusive - tall people carry it well because it does make a bit of a statement. Unfortunately, shorter people (under 5'2") might find it a little too imposing.
