I bought a Small because I am 5'1" and small framed. It is the perfect length and a perfect fit with room to spare. The colors are vibrant and the fabric is soft. It is comfortable to wear around the house or would make a great gift.

This yukata is beautiful and great for home loungewear. I have another, also from Smithsonian, purchased years ago that's in a cherry blossom design, and these are both wonderful for keeping a bit of elegance when you want comfort. This is currently the only yukata I see in the Smithsonian store, so more designs would be better.

this was the perfect retirement gift for my sister. what more could a lady of semi-leisure want than a lovely robe to leisure in? she told me it was so nice that she went out and bought new pajamas, so she had somethings really pretty to go with it. i'm always happiest to find the right gift in a catalogue as i hate shopping. thanks smithonian.

Got this as a Christmas gift and it is a beautiful wrap. It is a lighter weight than I expected but will make the perfect robe for summer! The print is really nice - colors are clear and I love the gold highlights. It washed up easily and will take a minimm of ironing. The XL fits me (18-20 at the moment) but it is a little long (I am 5'7"). Not sure if it is supposed to drag on the ground but I often step on the front corners. I can hem it easily or just learn to walk in it properly.
