They are absolutely unique! The idea of using semi-precious stone for oceans and continents make this a different and interesting simple gift to give. I was very pleased with the look of the globes, however, 2 of them were somewhat stiff and would not spin initially. They did loosen up after 'working' them a bit. This raised some concern as to whether they will be able to stand up to regular use. Since this is a new purchase, only time and use will tell.

These key chains are so beautifully made and make a wonderful gift that is not quite so personal. I gave them to three young men (boys)-aged 9, 11 and 16. Each one of them really liked the key chains-said they were really different and said they could use them. I was so pleased with my purchase!
