When I pointed this out to my husband in the catalog before Christmas he was very excited. I told him it was a Spring jacket and I'd order it now but we'd save it a few months. He has early stage dementia and he is just like a little kid with this jacket. He loves it! When it first came he had to try it out that day. Then I reminded him that it isn't intended for cold-climate winters and we should put it away. Well, it gives him so much pleasure that he is now wearing it with a sweater under it, except on the very coldest days. I don't recommend this for winter -- it isn't intended for that -- but for someone with strong aviation interests it is a great 3-season jacket.

Wear it very often. With layers it is pretty warm on Fall and early Winter days.
