Museum Provenance

Haiku: Japanese Art and Poetry recalls works in the Freer Gallery of Art. Opened to the public in 1923, a gift to the nation from Charles Lang Freer, the Freer Gallery houses one of the premier collections of Asian art, prints, sculpture and silk panels.
