Jefferson's Secret Bible DVD

As a complement to The Jefferson Bible, the Smithsonian Channel has produced this exclusive program, Jefferson's Secret Bible DVD, not available for purchase anywhere else. It explores Thomas Jefferson’s philosophy and follows Smithsonian curators as they gently and meticulously restore the brittle pages, in the hopes of preserving the work for future generations while answering questions about our nation’s past.  Program runs 51 minutes.

Museum Provenance

The red leather book resides in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, Behring Center. The Thomas Jefferson Bible is on exhibit at the Albert H. Small Documents Gallery in the National Museum of American History.
