This sculpture was broken into many pieces the first time it arrived. The second time it was broken in only one place but scratched in two other places. The third time it arrived intact. The Smithsonian customer service enployees were extremely considerate and helpful. We had been disappointed upon receiving damaged merchandise, but they listened to us and solved the problem with no complaints, even after I had to call back two times. Ruth Ray.

What a striking piece. This is very similar to other pieces I own of dolphins and fish made by the Murano glass company. The price was great and the colors are quite lovely. Makes a great gift too!

The sculpture was a present to my wife from me.

The original order was completed expediently, but the piece arrived defective. The dolphin sculpture had a large air bubble cast into its glass belly.
My wife contacted the Smithsonian Store, and a new one was sent. This new one only has a small air bubble, put my wife said she can overlook this defect,
